As we move through life we often encounter obstacles like boulders in a river: you can’t always avoid them, but the key is to not get stuck on them. As a licensed professional clinical counselor and a relationship coaching specialist, Regina empowers individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds to identify and overcome roadblocks to create their personalized blueprint to a more purposeful and satisfying life.
Her therapeutic approach remains solution-focused and client-centered. She utilizes the compassionate edge – a direct and empathetic approach that moves clients to a deeper acknowledgment of truth and an accelerated ability to take action as they build their life’s blueprint.
Regina holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin -Madison and has acquired certification as a Life Coach from the Institute for Life Coach Training. She has more than 15 years of experience in the field, offering counseling for stress, anxiety, depression, academic, career, and relationship issues. She provides individual and corporate clients with stress management consultation services to better both individual lives and the workplace.
In addition to providing clinical and consultation services, Regina works to enhance the profession of mental health counseling through education and collaboration as both a teacher and an internship provider for master’s level counseling students preparing to serve as the next generation of therapists. Recently elected to the ICA Division Representative Council, she values the role counseling plays in shaping society.
Regina strives to create community partnerships with schools and other local businesses.
