Marcia believes that the struggles of life can cause us to make unhealthy choices or go down a dark path. Leveraging a cognitive behavioral therapy approach, she strives to help those who have lost their motivation and don’t know who they are or how they got here. With strong communication skills and finger on the cusp of change, Marcia motivates clients to stop overthinking, questioning, procrastination, and self-sabotage to find internal peace.

In addition to her 15+ years of experience, Marcia earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Aurora University and is Certified in Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. She has also served as a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) since 2006 and has been involved in lobbying efforts for various issues.

To further support those in need, Marcia partnered with Communities in School (CIS), where she led group sessions with middle school and high school students. She also served as an in-school therapist, leading family sessions and facilitating communication with school staff, students, and their families.
